This Risograph work is part of a series called "Everyday Life in the Past ".
The series is inspired by old snapshots of people, landscapes, houses, and other everyday objects.
The combination of slightly hazy colors due to the overlapping of inks and bright fluorescent colors is a unique expression of Risograph ink colors and is very much in line with the theme of this series.
Risograph on paper Year of creation : 2021 Framed size : 33 x 33 cm Edition : 7
【Frame material】 Frame: wood, 23mm deep Surface: transparent acrylic
【Method of production】 Risograph, or RISO as it is called, is a digital stencil printing process that uses the same technology as silk screen and mimeograph, and is widely recognized as a method for creating artworks.
In my case, I draw the original drawing for multiple plates, such as cyan, magenta, and yellow, with gradation in pencil, and use them as plates for RISO.
